Disputes & Chargebacks
If something goes wrong with a gig, a task or a digital product, you can open a dispute from your account. Our team reviews the evidence from both sides and decides. Please contact the other party first, because most problems are sorted out that way.
1. Gig orders
When you order a gig, your payment is held in escrow. The seller is only paid when you confirm delivery. You or the seller can open a dispute while the order is still in progress, that is, before it is confirmed. Once a dispute is open, the buyer can no longer confirm the order, so the money stays held until we decide.
- Decided for the buyer: the full amount you paid, including any coupon discount, is refunded to your wallet.
- Decided for the seller: the seller receives their earnings, and the order is completed.
- Dismissed: no money moves, and the order carries on as normal.
2. Digital products
Digital product sales are generally final. You can open a dispute if the file is corrupted or won't open, if it is substantially different from the listing, or if you were charged twice. If we decide in your favour, we refund you in full or in part, depending on the evidence. The refund is taken back from the seller's earnings (and any affiliate commission on that sale).
3. Tasks
Rejected task submissions are not paid. If you believe your submission was rejected unfairly, open a dispute and we will compare your proof with the task requirements. If we decide in your favour, you are paid the task reward minus the platform fee, exactly as if it had been approved.
4. What to include
- A clear description of what went wrong and when.
- Screenshots, files, links or messages that support your case.
- What outcome you are asking for.
Only one dispute can be open on an order at a time. Our decision and note are visible to both parties.
5. How refunds are paid
All refunds go to your wallet, not back to your card or bank. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Chargebacks
If you funded your wallet by card and think you were charged in error, contact us first with your payment reference. Filing a chargeback with your bank without contacting us may result in your account being restricted while the matter is investigated.
